I hate to say this, but I fear if Labour had got back in, the McCanns would have been home and dry. In 2007, it was the incumbent Labour government who supported the cover up, and Labour supporting head of CEOP Jim Gamble who rushed to the McCanns' aid. Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and Alan Johnson have major questions to answer, and I fear if Labour had got a majority those questions would never be asked.
Although it truly pains me to see the tories back in, I actually feared a Labour win and mass arrests of internet 'trolls' if they had got in. I don't think the McCanns will be happy with this result. As far as we know the conservatives have no reason to cover up for them and the investigation under Theresa May is not the one they wanted
