SYKES TAKE ON - THE METAMORPHOSIS OF HOHO'S CONTROVERSY FORUM/FACEBOOK

It has been suggested elsewhere that HoHo's forum/facebook has changed. Like a very tatty butterfly going backwards it has become the bastard offspring of something we thought dead and buried - the 3 Arguidos. The addition of old 3A members, especially the so called 'satire king' has turned it from a cesspit into something even nastier. 3As fell because of the infighting, the outing of members, the insinuations of aberrant behavor of its admin and most of all the suppression of the right to give a point of view that was at odds with the 'party' line. And what do we have on HoHo's fascist empire? Suppression of the right to debate, the right to have an opinion, the right to query some weird post, the right to object to filth, the closing of thread after thread - the list is so like the 3As Stasi approach that the above observation rings very true. HoHo claims the place exists to get out the truth about Madeleine McCann - come off it, they don't care one iota for the little girl, all they do is harass, insult and threaten her parents 24/7. They have even gone after the twins,with various comments and innuendos. One of the admin is infamous for her vicious backstabbing; I wonder how long it will be before she switches sides again and starts destroying HoHo? Visiting the forum and even more so the facebook, leaves one feeling very sick and extremely grubby. I am all for free speech, after all that is the backbone of a real democracy, but there are some times when I think this privilege should be withdrawn and that definitely applies to Controversy.
