Yesterday the Telegraph posted a report which had more holes in it than an Emmental Swiss cheese. One such error was that the McCanns marriage had broken up. There was an immediate flurry and, with unseemly haste, various posters were all over social media crowing with glee at the news. On forums there was a race to see who could get the news up first, with typical shows of pleasure and talks of body language etc. A short time later the paper put up its story minus the incorrect information, though they didn't bother revising all the obvious misinformation in the rest of the article. However, this action didn't stop the frenzy, in fact it fed it. Now we had the marriage breakup, the imminent arrest of the parents and other inane remarks ad infinitum. At about the same time certain forums 'went down' - actually they didn't, it was a maintenance break, so the stories got wilder and wilder, mainly that these forums had been taken off line as the arrests were due any time now. As usual, the idiots posting up like maniacs failed to notice that the forums were a mix of anti and pro the parents. The posters appear to have failed to notice the message re maintenance that appeared when they tried to log in - this forum was also 'down' for the same reason. So, after yesterday's furore one wonders what is in store for us today. Meantime the Egyptian battle it out on the streets of their cities, the North and South Koreans try and find a way to reopen Kaesong, the Bolivian president bleats on and on and tries to rally the rest of South America against the US (not a chance as most of them are in hock to their capitalist neighbor) and Edward Snowden now has 3 offers of asylum. Will this obvious unrest in various parts of the world have an effect on the no-brains? You have to be joking.
