You really cannot get much lower than Amaral can you?

Begging online when the lazy slob has not bothered to do any work for years. Can anyone explain why this chap cannot work? Maybe employers are very choosy now and disgraced, criminal ex-cops don't get a lot of credit when going for a job no matter how lowly the status?

Perhaps Portugal is at last realising that disgraced, criminal ex-cops like Amaral and a few of his friends, should no longer be treated as heroes. No decent country would allowed this character to co-ordinate a missing child case while an 'arguido' for illegal activities which took place in another case where a child was the focus. He would have been suspended at the time and booted out of the force once convicted.

But he is now no better than a street beggar it seems, though he keeps his distance and gets his harem of groupies to do the actual begging for him. Is he so ashamed that he cannot do his own begging? I wonder does he also collect some kind of 'unemployment benefit' from the Portuguese state? Or does he live off his CMTV appearance monies? And whatever happened to Amaral's appearances with Julia Pinheiro? Has he become persona non grata on her programmes? She still spends a fair proportion of her show dealing with crime so why is Amaral no longer one of her "experts"? Carvalho and Maia still appear.
