Hater logic -
That the McCanns would hire & pay a small group of random people to tweet support for them using accounts with generally less than a few hundred followers which include each other and of which several are protected accounts (own included).
...when in fact, they could be hiring a different random group of people who actively collect THOUSANDS of followers in order to tweet such heartless and cruel comments about them so that people are outraged and immediately donate loads of money to their fund out of sympathy.
Psychologists have spoken about how in reality TV shows, the underdog often gets to stay in the competition because of the "sympathy vote" whilst the bully gets booted out. Some underdogs have been accused of manipulating situations so that they are seen to be the underdog (i.e. x-factor)
Now, if the McCanns were as PR canny and manipulative as the hounders claim them to be, and were (as accused) actually paying people to use social media, which of the above strategies is more likely to yield results?
Note - that the McCanns pay us to support them is completely untrue and a hater fantasy. The above is simply to demonstrate how ridiculous the assertion is.
