I can’t believe the five-star reviews are real. Coming out almost simultaneously with the publishing date, they must be the author’s friends. Don’t waste your buck. This book is a complete waste of time. Since every book deserves a modicum of respect, I will write a whole review, but you need not read it. Go on to another book.

The author is obsessed with other people who have been successful when she herself—despite numerous breaks and opportunities, and despite her “over 3000 appearances” as a guest commentator (criminal profiling) on television shows such as Nancy Grace, Larry King and others—has a career that has gone nowhere.

Wait a minute. Over 3000 appearances? That means she appeared daily, every single day, for a period of more than eight years. Impossible. So maybe every other day for a period of sixteen years? Hm-m-m-m, maybe she is like one of those despicable authors she mentions who don’t tell the truth and exaggerate their success . . . oh, never mind.

This poorly written book is like an angry letter that one should write and then throw away.

I have many fans and many haters; those who love my television commentary and hardline logic and commonsense deductive approach to criminal profiling, and those who hate my television commentary and think I am a fraud because I didn’t work for or get trained by the FBI.

A number of the one star reviews are from people who never even read the book but wanted a forum to attack me and ruin my book sales ….. ha ha ha ha ha! Some of those are trolls who are angry at my analysis of the Madeleine McCann and West Memphis Three cases; they pick my main profiling book to trash even if it costs them a few bucks to do it.

I already mentioned that I managed to get an agent to hock my first book, Killing for Sport. Well, it was my second agent that actually sold the book. It was right after 9/ 11 and the publishing world was in the toilet again and when he called me about a publisher who was interested, he apologized immediately.

Incredibly, Brown believes that with the exception of the rich and famous (who are a dead-cert since their fans are going to buy their books anyway) best-sellers are created by the publishing industry and the authors hand-picked from their friendships circles.

I am putting my professional hat on now. No that is not true. The only handpicked writers might be ghost writers.

Her book is bad and people will not want to buy it. Like anything else, the product has to be good for resources to be injected into it.

I also know why she was dropped from TV and she has lied about that too.
