English inspectors meeting with the PJ in Faro
Six Scotland Yard inspectors are gathered with members of the Polícia Judiciária in Faro.
The meeting started at around 10h00 this Thursday and is foreseen to end at around lunchtime, as the return of the English people to their country is foreseen for this afternoon.
Among the group of inspectors that arrived in Portugal yesterday is a member that works with sniffer dogs and another expert in the use of detectors.
The inspectors, who were accommodated in Vilamoura, were questioned by the journalists before entering the PJ's building, about the reasons for the visit and the meeting's agenda, but they refused to comment.
This presence takes place after the Portuguese Public Ministry authorised searches in various places near the Ocean Club complex, in Praia da Luz, where Madeleine McCann disappeared in 2007. The child, who was three years old, was [allegedly] in the holiday apartment with her twin siblings while the parents dined with friends at the complex's restaurant.
