Searches of homes of former employees of the Ocean Club in Praia da Luz were some of the steps requested by British police and rejected by the Portuguese authorities as unfounded.

The judge to whom were referred these requests, which contained letters rogatory, did not consider valid the arguments of Scotland Yard. Detectives wanted the Judicial Police (PJ) pays the house searches targeted because they worked in the village at the time Madeleine disappeared, which made them "persons of interest".

Another treatment had requests for searches and excavations, using dogs and one georadar, which were accepted as advanced yesterday JN. The Public Prosecutor (MP) of Portimão gave the green light to these steps, which are a turning point in British research, with Scotland Yard to assume, first, that envisages the Madeleine is dead.

       Authorized searches Maddie radar

Attorney gives green light at the request of the British to inspect land and beach

The prosecutor gave the green light to search and excavations in Praia da Luz requested by British police, that is, for the first time, looking for the body of Madeleine vanished seven years ago.

The steps, still no date set, contained in the third and most recent letter rogatory that the British authorities sent to Portugal, found the JN. The intention is to analyze land that detectives accuse the Judicial Police (PJ) of not inspected until exhaustion. To do this, ask with radar equipment that allows to understand if there are traces of the girl's corpse buried in the village to be used.
