We are coming up to the 7th anniversary of the disappearance of a 3 year old girl from a holiday complex in Portugal. There is to be a vigil at the local church for all 'departed, lost or absent children' - a worthy and good idea, would you not agree? Well, if you are normal, caring people, I guess you would, but the recent appearance on the internet of the announcement has galvanized the lower elements of our very sick society to start hate-spamming, with lurid comments such as it might be a trick to get the parents there so that they can be arrested. How many times does one need to repeat that the parents are NOT in the frame for anything? As usual, the vitriol is flowing like fast moving sewage. An interesting challenge has been made, and ignored, from a well-known and respected poster to a fantasist who has made ridiculous claims - she googles a poster's web name then posts up her findings, all of which are totally erroneous. She is about to get one hell of a surprise as screenshots of her claims and other evidence are, I am reliably informed, on their way to the authorities. She has claimed to have reported all her so-called enemies to the police, let us wait with baited breath to see what happens when this is turned on its head and the boys in blue come calling on her, as they will, Meanwhile acrmonious punchups continue elsewhere - nothing new there (but it's good for a laugh when there's not much on TV.).
