Hollie Greig latest: Robert Green sidekick Tim Rustige found GUILTY at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today

An update on the Hollie Greig saga

Today, after a 2-day trial, a man from Altrincham, Cheshire, Tim 'Rusty' Rustige', was found 'Guilty' by a Scottish Sheriff of the persistent harassment of a lady called Elish Angiolini, a former top Scottish law officer, and now the prestigious Principal of St. Hugh's College, Oxford.

Rustige is the owner of an especially unpleasant weblog, 'Rusty's Skewed News' - and how appropriately titled it is.

Rustige lives a few miles away from Hollie Greig campaigner Robert Green, who is regarded as a truth-seeking hero by such luminaries as Brian Gerrish of UK Column and David Icke. They are friends and lose no opportunity to 'name and shame' those who allegedey abused Hollie.

Over two days (Monday 24 February and today, 27 February), the court heard how Rustige, a convinced believer in the claim that Hollie was serially raped and abused by up to 31 Scottish paedophiles over a period of 14 years, embarked on a vicious and obscene e-mail and internet campaign against Ms Angiolini. Staff and students at St. Hugh's College, the rest of Oxford University and other people in Oxford received menacing e-mails from Rustige replete with the most obscene, vulgar language, littered with four-letter words.

Despite being arrested before Christmas, and a lengthy court adjournment, Rustige carried on with his vile hate campaign regardless.

Legally represented, Rustige denied sending these e-mails and internet messages, blaming, in turn, his wife and his two sons, or other members of 'Prisoners of Conscience', to which he has lately attached himself.

He was bailed to appear in 4 weeks' time, then he will be sentenced.

Embarrassingly for Robert Green, a letter from him to Rustige was read out in court, which read: "Well done Rusty for hammering Oxford". This followed a police raid on Rustige's one-bed flat in Altrincham.

Only last week, Robert Green was himself remanded in custody for a further 3 months, pending his trial on charges of the alleged repeated breaches of a Court order preventing him from further naming and shaming of these alleged paedophiles.

This whole case goes back to the revenge of Hollie's mother, Anne Greig, who in 2000 coached Hollie into making these allegations.

Members of the Hollie Greig Hoax team have been supplied a leaked copy of Hollie's police interview in Shrewsbury in 2009 which, when examined, lays bare the fact that Hollie has the most limited understanding and did not know or understand what she was saying. I have been shown a copy of the full transcript.

The cost to the Scottish taxpayer of collecting evidence about the alleged breach of Court Orders by Green and the harassment by Rustige has been considerable, not to mention court and prison costs.

But belief in Hollie's claims is so deeply ingrained in some people that they are unlikely to let go of their beliefs.

That includes Brian Gerrish, who undermines the work of UK Column by constantly recycling the outright lies of Green and Greig.
