I've always tried to figure out why there was so much blood on the walls and even under the floor tiles, also GA mentione that drops of blood were found on the kitchen tops as well....so what if Madeleine did break her neck, and an emergency tracheostomy was performed on her because her breathing was obstructed.....that would answer the blood splatters would it not...... My son who is in the army tells me in an emergency, and as a last resort, a cut can be made in the trachea, using a razor blade or knife, and then a plastic straw or the shell of a ball point pen can be used as a tube and inserted into the windpipe to allow air in. A blood splatter can also occur with this procedure. She might have fallen off the couch and the procedure done right there where she fell, as a person can't be moved much with a broken neck. They might have used the missing shower curtain to lay her on. Would be interesting to hear views on this
