This is true, Bosie. He does hurt people, but I was speaking with regard to legalities, which is all he needs to care about.
The point for me is that he isn't capable of upsetting me, or you, I do suspect. He only upsets people who are weaker than he is. This is the classic sign of a Bully. And they all meet their comeuppance in the end.

Hello All....I came across this forum via a friend. I see Badboy Bret still can't keep himself out of trouble. All I can say is pretty much what has been said before, the man is a lame excuse for a human being, let alone a man. His claims of being in the know, are all figments of his imagination - and you just have to look at his website for proof. With the release of his new book of his old pal, Garbo he claims that there's an option of turning it into a film He is so full of the proverbial it's unbelievable.

And as for his claims of having "contacts".....I'm left wondering does he mean contact lenses as for jam jars he see's life out, really are giving him a different perspective of life from the rest of us normal folk. There's a reason why he is considered a "joke" and not just in these forums, it's because he is the punchline to the very worst pratical joke ever played on a human being....

I think he is a really sad article with issues of self worth. He slags people off because it briefly makes him feel better about his own failures, although I have no idea of what they could be. But he wouldn't use the sort of language that he does if he felt good about himself.
I shall continue to feel vaguely sorry for him.

Thank you for the welcome, it is appreciated. Threats from Bret do not worry me one bit as I'm well aware that he is a liar and a total fantasist.....Seeing the way he has manipulated the internet and forums over the last few years is nothing short of distgusting. And believe me when he's had enough of the Maddie Case and those who hang onto his every lie, he'll walk away and claim another set of victims. Look at how he dropped Pat Brown, and then took to supporting her again - it was all to do with the belief that he could ride on her coat-tail...but sadly she came away from it looking like a complete buffoon....

I think it's fair to say that Badboy Brets threats are about as empty as the so called truths that can be found in his books - they just don't exsist!!! I admit to finding all these threats amusing, to be truthful. They may work for some of the less than observant people on these forums, who maybe are dazzled by this so-called 'celebrity hack writer'. But when it comes down to the bottom line, he is just a ridiculous, embittered, old man who sees other writers getting the kudos he imagines, quite erroneously, should be his. He has the idea that he is witty and clever and can turn a bon mot with the best. But he can't; when he fails to impress or someone pricks his bubble of self-esteem he appears to be able only to fall back on nasty innuendoes, lies and made up stories. I manage to speak French with a frightfully upper class English accent. And they do understand me, even if they fall about laughing in the process.
But since even I have a problem with The Yorkshire accent, mainly due to total ignorance of their English grammar then I don't think that Yorkshire has much to do with it.
