I thought I had heard it all, that people could not sink so low, but how wrong I was. With the news that the search for Madeleine McCann is now under way, that digging in certain areas has commenced, out of the woodwork they came, the expats moaning about how inconvenienced they are, how much money they are losing, how tourists are staying away in droves, An expat, sporting an overdone suntan and dark glasses and looking like a female version of Jimmy Savile parades around carrying a crude banner, which appears to have been made by a five year old. Following close behind are the locals whose attitude I can to a certain degree understand, but not the Brits, wailing they are going to be out of pocket. No words of comfort for the parents, whose minds must be in turmoil. There can only be two results, either she is buried somewhere in Praia de Luz or she is not, there is no middle way. If this child was theirs how would they feel? While all this is going on, the frenzy is fast reaching boiling point. Heated discussions are raging about how hair and fingernails grow after death, how long cadaverine hangs around; there are calls to 'Waterboard the McCanns' and attempts to delay, yet again, a certain libel trial, and a boring non-mod is stirring things up behind the scenes, using a pretendy cop as his frontman. Look out, powers that be, you are about to get inundated with more copious garbage, more large binders, more theories and advice from pretendies - the latest is a 'DNA expert'! I am too angry to write more, but a final thought, can someone explain in simple words why so many so-called 'concerned citizens' want this little girl dead?
