A team of British police on Wednesday landed in Portugal to meet with colleagues from the Judiciary, because the Maddie case.
According to British newspaper the Daily Mirror, two of the six agents are forensic experts in search of corpses. The Judicial Police confirms meeting with colleagues, but denies it is intended to have started excavations at the village where the English family was staying for seven years and nearby diligence requested by the British authorities by letter rogatory

Local reports today claimed the series of meetings between Brit and Portuguese cops were to "define the operations to find Maddie's body".
However the Met has previously claimed the renewed searches are as a result of a review of evidence already gathered by the Portuguese over the last seven years and not necessarily connected to finding Madeleine's body.
