A stroll round C*********y facebook proves conclusively that the posters on there don't give a damn for Madeleine. W****n T******n dismisses the latest news from Scotland Yard as a blatant attempt to 'whitewash' the obviously guilty parents. The same sentiments are present on other sceptic forums - actually let's call them what they are, hate forums. Wherever an anti-MCann turns up, even on forums that actually have no bias as such, immediately the police, government etc are lambasted and accused of covering up the McCanns' crime, they are in their words, IN IT. No mention of the little girl, just more vitriol against her parents. Madeleine does not actually exist in these creatures' minds, she is just a cypher, an end to a means which is the destruction of her parents. They bleat about how SY are totally up the creek, about negligence (no way would the Social Services allow the McCanns to continue to look after the twins if that were true, they would have been removed immediately the family set foot back in England), they try and prove the McCanns are the ultimate in scam merchants, they are defrauding the public and on an on. In the end, anyone with a scintilla of sense comes to the conclusion that it all boils down to one simple fact, adult bullying, not the type we probably all experienced at school, but a far nastier syndrome as it can result in damage, mentally if not physically to those less hardened to such attacks. Well, we will see, in the days and weeks to come how things transpire. I do hope the haters have lots of carpet to chew!
