Is SKY NEWS making a film about Madeleine McCann? - Report from Richard D Hall's meeting in Nottingham last night (1 April)
Post Tony Bennett Today at 10:48 am

A McCann-sceptic unfamiliar with Richard Hall's work attended his meeting in Nottingham last night - part of his three-week nationwide tour.

He described the meeting as 'packed to overflowing'. During the first part of the meeting, Hall spoke about the Madeleine McCann case, and showed a short trailer from his new film. He asked the audience if anyone had heard of Wojcek Krokowski. No hands went up.

But also of interest was news brought by a latecomer to the meeting who suddenly shouted out: "There's a SKY News team filming outside and they want to talk to you, Richard".

Hall apparently explained that he thought that a film crew might turn up, said he knew about them, and said he was not co-operating with them.

Sure enough, my informant tells me that he saw a female journalist, a cameraman and another person outside the venue filming, and talking to people out on the street.

Now, when I heard this, my mind immediately wandered to Sonia Poulton's forthcoming (?) documentary.

I remembered that Rosalinda Hutton/Cristobell had blurted out that Sonia had been 'commissioned' by a TV company to make a film about Madeleine - but wouldn't say by whom.

I also remembered that Sonia Poulton tweeted that she wanted a McCann-sceptic who would volunteer to talk to the media, promising that the newspaper concerned was willing to cover the facts of the case.

Then I remembered that within minutes of that tweet, Hutton had volunteered, then Poulton accepted her (without trying to get anyone else) - and the end result was that appalling article in Rupert Murdoch's Sun in which Hutton admitted, indeed boasted, that she was an 'anti-McCann bitch who got a 'buzz' from attacking other people'.

I also brought to mind that THREE TIMES in recent months Sonia Poulton has been invited by Rupert Murdoch's SKY News to pontificate about her generally 'airhead' views about this and that on SKY News' early morning chat shows.
    Bennett's right, for once:
BENNET'S LATEST ON THE MADELEINE CASE Mutton13
It will be deeply ironic - though vastly amusing - if all the people that 'don't want it aired' turn out to be in the Hate Camp.
I also recalled a recent photo released by Sonia Poulton of her and a cameraman - taken obviously by a third person - right outside the McCanns' front door - and I wondered how that was possible, given the McCanns' elaborate security arrangements.

So finally I asked myself: what was a SKY News team doing outside Richard Hall's talk in Nottingham?

    Were they:

    (a) persuaded by Richard Hall's previous film on Madeleine that there were hidden 'truths' about the case that desperately needed reporting?

    OR

    (b) preparing a major hatchet job - maybe with Sonia Poulton's co-operation - on the many McCann-sceptics who discuss the case on the internet?

Oh, this is very interesting indeed! Of the identity of the journo, Bennett sez-
I have made enquiries - and apparently the journalist was one JENNY KLEEMAN
And Ms Kleeman is a real, genuine journo, not a conspiraloon pretendy. Wonder who she's talking to just now?

@DaSteelMan Hi David. Can you follow me so I can DM you?
Jenny Kleeman is a British documentary film-maker and journalist who works on Channel 4's Unreported World series and writes for The Guardian and Vice magazine.

Kleeman, what is she up to?
Post Tony Bennett Today at 1:46 pm

Information reaches me that Channel 4 are preparing a film provisionally called 'Trolling' which is to be aired later this spring.

Further information suggests that they tried filming in the Leicestershire village of Burton Overy, where Brenda Leyland lived until hounded to death by Martin Brunt and his boss Jonathan Levy and assorted vicious pro-McCann Twitter trolls. Apparently the entire village blanked the Channel 4 team and refused to co-operate with them.

Now this seems to be a different venture from the one that Jenny Kleeman is engaged on, as that one appears to be more focussed on Madeleine McCann.

I am not sure now which of the two Sonia Poulton might be involved with - or perhaps neither if 'interestedobserver' is right.

@ jeanmonroe I have had a quick look at Jenny Kleeman's website: http://www.jennykleeman.com/ and I would cheerfully concede that judging by those clips that she's put up, she has secured some very interesting and informative interviews with people.

But there are those stories that the mainstream media allow journalists to cover, and there are those that the mainstream media won't let them touch with a 10-foot bargepole.

How likely is it, for example, that Kleeman might be researching a documentary/article exposing all the dark antics of the McCanns' private investigators?

ETA: The poster 'Richard IV' has directed us to where Richard Hall (on CMOMM) has already mentioned Jenny Kleeman. Here is what he said:

I was approached by a journalist acting for the Guardian the other day. They are preparing an article (probably hit piece) on the fact that people do not think the media are asking the right questions in relation to the McCanns. They were desperate to get me on camera to make comments. They refused to agree to my conditions, which were mainly that they show me the piece before it airs so I can check it for accuracy - so I did not give them an interview. I suspect they are planning a hit piece on the "beliefs" of those who have found information on the internet about the McCann case. The journalist is Jenny Kleeman.

I have tweeted Jenny for a few years because I like her documentary work, especially for Channel 4 Despatches. I have asked her why the likes of herself and other freelancers stay away from the McCann case.

Now she wanted to do an interview on video with myself on the topic of: "Growing number of people that believe the media isn't telling the real story of M McCann".

Not an indepth interview on the aspects of the case, but the general feeling of why people like myself feel the way we do about the Main Stream Media's biased coverage.

All sounds great, yeah? Sounds plausible?

I immediately asked the following questions:

    1) Who was funding the documentary? ... Ans: The Guardian

    2) Where will this 'docu' be broadcast? ... Ans: The Guardian website

    3) Are you planning on tricking /portraying people like myself in bad light, like Brenda Leyland? ... Ans: No, the film is about people who think the media haven't asked the right questions.

    4) Why are you doing this now, at this time? ... Ans: I've been getting lots of tweets from people wanting me to do this.

Now, I was considering this because I've got nothing to hide. I use my real name and use my real identity etc and I have never crossed any line of legality towards anyone when outing my feelings on the case. However ... an alarm bell rang:

    A) The Guardian were the only UK newspaper to to accept Leveson recommendations

    B) Hacked Off also want Leveson recommendations pushed through and are friendly with The Guardian

    C) Gerry McCann was allowed to write an article in The Guardian around the time of the Brenda Leyland tragedy

So the Jenny Kleeman / Guardian / Hacked Off / Leveson / Gerald McCann connection is evident.

However, Jenny may be 100% genuine in her reasoning for wanting to interview ordinary folk on opinion of why MSM are not asking the right questions. I deep down hope she is genuine, because I like her and the work she does. But why is The Guardian willing to fund her and her crew to travel 100s of miles to interview myself and probably others?

It also crossed my mind that this was a planned Team McCann counteraction to Sonia Poulton's documentary or Richard D. Halls.

It also crossed my mind that Jenny also is a regular for the newspaper review on Sky News and of course there is the Gamble, Brunt connection.

As I said, I hope Jenny is doing this for the right reasons, but reading the fact that Jenny was stalking outside of Richard D. Hall's gig and not allowing him to see the final version of any agreed interview suggests something is not quite right.

Needless to say, I will refuse to get involved.

Richard D. Hall Today at 11:02 am

With regards the theory a newspaper might use the UFO issue to discredit me.

    1. Anyone who thinks intelligent life must only exist on Earth, one of billions of planets in the Universe, and nowhere else is close minded.

    2. The McCann's own, privately employed private investigator, Gary Hagland believes in UFO's. He has even written a book about his own experience with a UFO.

    3. The subject of UFO's covers any unidentified object in the sky, such as undisclosed secret craft. All my films on the UFO phenomenon are objective and packed full of evidence, I conclude that many UFO's are of human origin.

    4. The percentage of people who believe the authorities are covering things up on the UFO issue is very high.

If the UFO issue were to be used in general, to discredit the films, the word desperation comes to mind.

It seems to me there is a hegelian dialectic under way which includes Brenda Layland. The problem - reaction - solution. It seems they are packaging the "problem" now to put out soon. I predict some major media coverage which will include the Brenda Leyland story and also references to material which questions the official story, such as my films.
I don't think Hall needs much help to discredit himself. Anyone that starts proclaiming Ickeian p*sh about Problem>Reaction>Solution is already happily dwelling in the Nutter box.
