SYKES' TAKE ON - THAT BOOK, WANANABE WRITERS/JOURNALISTS AND BADLY BRUISED EGOS

Well, 'the book' is out and so are the knives. Reading the comments after a time gave me a headache and a desire to go lie down for at least half a day. The scale of ignorance on how publishing works is astonishing - crowing about what seemed to be an immediate drop by 50% of the book price shows how petty and ridiculous the haters are. Amazon is a discounted online outlet, which offers items at prices far below what one pays in a regular shop. While this sillyness continues, out of the woodwork crawl the usual lowlife, bleating about how they weren't consulted. Portugal's 'finest' self proclaimed 'citizen journalist' is screeching away about her blog being 'invaded' and copyright breached and most of all her inclusion in the 'Haters List', Bushmeat Pattie is flouncing, unflouncing and flouncing like a saggy rubber ball, while Trolleyman is in the midst of a total verbal diarrhoea meltdown and obviously livid at being ignored especially as Brenda Ryan gets an acknowledgement of her seeing the light and crossing the floor to the other side of the argument. Orders have gone out from Hater HQ to bomb anywhere the book is advertised with negative posts - rather like the current punchup going on over Scottish independence - wonder how many haters are also anti the Scottish wish to be free. Of course, all the usual suspects are lined up ready to spit venom and lies and falsify anything and everything they can. They refuse to accept that UK Law is based on 'innocent until proven guilty', preferring instead the fascist/communist interpretation of 'guilty until proven innocent' or that the McCanns have been cleared of complicity by both the PJ and the UK Police. I do seriously wonder where these people are coming from; we have even had someone on twitter seeking to recruit a jihadist to murder the McCanns - true! So far I have not read the book as I am still waiting on its arrival, but I will make up my own mind about it then. I will not presume to to review it until after I have read it, unlike some of the more moronic antis who were busy posting up details of a book that hadn't, at that time, been published. So, if you have it to read, enjoy or hate, depending on your attitude.
