Guess by that logic I met Tracy Terhune, David Bret and Rudolph Valentino!

Ain't that the truth. One can picture Badboy bret at his computer from 7 in the morning till late at night, with his teeth beside him in a glass jar, head scarf wrapped around his head with three curlers al la Hilda Ogden style, ranting and raving at why people aren't discussing him. And ranting and raving when people are. In truth he is a sad deluded little scrawny man who since childhood has lived in a fantasy world. Even an old school comrade informed someone I know that his David Bret biography is a figment of his imagination, as is the story of who his god parents were.

If he wasn't so pitiful you really would feel sorry for him......But I don't!

Of course they do, but no-one has the right to take away from them maybe a little dream; it's like telling a small child that Father Christmas is a myth, or Peter Pan is a fairytale. We all have our idols, I have, and I don't really want to know the 'other' side of their lives; I am happy if, say, a sportsman I admire wins the Dubai Golf Classic 5 years in a row, or hits a century against Australia, or shoots the goal that takes a favorite football team to the top of the tree; what he does elsewhere is none of my concern. What matters is his ability to do something I would dearly love to do, but can't. Personally, a celebrity's private life should be just that, private, not a subject for tittle-tattle and speculation.

David made the claim, and lets not forget he makes many claims, that she had heard a radio interview of him, he was supposedly in Chicago at the time, and he claimed that she rang the radio station and made the "supposeded" announcment about him. Now this is one of many versions of the story, as is his attending of the University of Chicago to talk about Valentino in front of Barak Obama Seriously there's telling tall tales and then there's being the long lost brother of the Brothers Grimm.

I came across an interesting FB post today made by Bret on the Maddie In Search of the Truth page, and of which I attempted to search Amazon.com in which will hopefully confirm to the doubters what we all know about Badboy Bret, he had claimed to the reviewer - after harrassing her that his account had been cloned, and he apologised profusely. He blamed that his doubters were out to get him blah, blah. Sadly the post has now been deleted by Amazon.com, who to their credit have deleted many of Badboys abusive remarks At least someone has taken a stand?


David Bret Not sure, Anna. I believe people come up with these cloning stories when they're looking for an excuse after going too far--in Ms Butler's case when she'ss had too much to drink. Much of the stuff I see on Twitter is OTT. The same people regurgitating the same stuff all the time, like cracked records, so much so that the genuine people get swamped by all the tit-for-tat insults.

Looks like I may have caught David Badboy Brets nerve in regards to his meeting of Obama and the supposed comment made about him by Elizabeth Taylor (and guess what the story takes another turn).

Now, now Badboy when are you going to stop telling fibs, you were never giving a talk at the University of Chicago about Valentino, that's the story you made up in retailation to Evelyn Zumaya.... And as for the Elizabeth comment, you really need to keep your posts checked before you start posting. I have a very good friend who was at the University of Chicago in 1998, who has confirmed that you were NOT at the event. And as for studio machine????? Is that another phrase for a telephone???

Welcome Carew1452 or would mind me calling you Nick, so glad you could finally make a post. I have it on very good authority that David Bret DID NOT attend the event. Since Bret has made the claims he has been asked by several people for proof, of course he refused to comply. I am aware that Wendy Wasserstein, Edward Hirsch, Galway Kinnell were all part of the festival, but no mention of Bret......

However I have to decline divulging my personal details, as I wouldn't want those getting into the wrong hands, what with all this cloning and false profiles malarky going on......

Thank you Nick for the article, but I'm not too sure what your trying to prove by posting it, as I don't see how it relates to Badboy Bret. Certainly I see Neil Harris, Katerina Ruedi, Peter Gay, Dominic Pacyga and Fintan O'Toole mentioned but no sign of Bret Perhaps Brets was using one of his many puesdoynms?????
