Time to REMIND everyone...Comments made about the McCanns are not 'baseless' and 'unfounded'. The McCanns were declared SUSPECTS! They have NOT been declared innocent!

When the McCanns were made arguidos, they were suspected of having committed a crime! They wouldn't have been made arguidos if they weren't. One thing implies the other..... One is made arguido for one's protection, and one doesn't need protection unless one is a... suspect.

Were they declared innocent? NO!

The Prosecutor stated that the investigation (5 months under Gonçalo Amaral's coordination, 9 months under Paulo Rebelo's coordination) failed to determine the crime that was committed, and all options remain open.

The investigation failed to produce conclusive evidence. In Portugal only a court of law can declare anyone's innocence.

Comments about their possible involvement in their daughter's disappearance are VALID and DO NOT constitute classification as being HATE remarks!"

Were they declared innocent? Categorically and unequivocally YES. The PAG stated so, in no uncertain terms when he summed the case up prior to shelving it.

   "Under article 214 number 1 item a) of the Penal Process Code, the coercion measures that have been imposed on the arguidos are declared EXTINCT."

   "The archiving of the Process concerning arguidos Gerald Patrick McCann and Kate Marie Healy, BECAUSE THERE ARE NO INDICATIONS OF THE PRACTISE OF ANY CRIME under the dispositions of article 277 number 1 of the Penal Process Code."

   "The NON INVOLVEMENT of the Arguidos parents of Madeleine in ANY PENALLY RELEVANT ACTION seems to result from the objective circumstances of them not being inside the apartment when she disappeared, from the NORMAL BEHAVIOUR that they adopted until said disappearance AND AFTERWARDS, as can be amply concluded from the witness statements, from the TELEPHONE COMMUNICATIONS ANALYSIS and also from the forensics’ conclusions, namely the Reports from the FSS and from the National Institute for Legal Medicine."

It doesn't get any plainer than that.

NO, they are far from valid, given that not a shred of credible evidence has ever been shown to stand even a modicum of scrutiny. NO police force in the world considers them as suspects, NO evidence has been formed against them, therefore NO comments suggesting their involvement are in any way valid.

Not only DO they constitute hate remarks, the accusing someone of being involved in, or being legally and officially suspected of involvement in a crime with no evidence to back up said claim is LIBEL.

It is extremely simple really.

Lizzy Taylor, the garage door painter from Toronto, is either deliberately lying or she is as thick as it is possible to be.

Nobody with a brain in their head believes the garbage which she is spouting about people having to be declared innocent by a court. It doesn't happen in Canada, It doesn't happen in the UK and it doesn't happen in Portugal either. It is utter bilge and either she knows that but is choosing to lie or she is completely thick. I have no idea which it may be and to be honest I don't care.

I lost all respect for her when, instead of defending her videos, she ran away from that forum where she was challenged as to the truth of the content of them. By failing so pathetically to defend the propaganda she has been spitting out for years it became very clear that even she cannot provide any evidence to back up her claims.
