There are many gulls (gullible people) and cons (confidence tricksters/fantasists) on the McCann forums, Dear Readers, you have to agree. I will give you a current example. A con, let us call her 'S', has been resident on a particular forum since October 16, 2013, making grandiose claims to be in personal contact with a certain person who was involved in the case. S seems to have conned quite a few gulls on there, even going so far as to threaten anyone who had the temerity to disagree with her dogmatic statements with the force of the law. This is a normal practice for S, who has been doing this for some time on twitter. She claims to be on the inside path with the police and, I understand, to be a special advisor to Interpol at one point. She is masquerading as a species of legal secretary cum media monitor. As a normal poster pointed out her raving, threatening, pompous, ridiculous posturings are what happens when you give someone with a severe personality disorder free reign. And the main gull on this particular forum is in fact the man whose forum it is. I am wondering how long it will be before S puts a link to her partner's S and M site on there. However, a recent twitter announces S is not 'swinging' at present, which must be good news to the twitterers.
